okay here's two things

awesome advice:
wear a giant foam hat over your head - no need to worry about hair!
use animals as hairpieces!
sea urchins make delicious snacks!

to avoid trolling advice:
don't be an emo poser XD
and i personally would never wear a wig.

i can't give any more advice then what NOT to do since i'm a guy lol.

Just leave it down all the time. That's what I do.
But you can put in a headband if you want.

Hmm... If you want a casual look, cut it about an inch shorter and make bangs. Put a bigger clump on one side and a smaller one on the other. For a more unique look, dye a streak of bright color to edge it. Also, to keep it from tangling, pull chunks from the front/side hair and clip ir tie back.
For a popping look, cut to the earlobe and dye a bright color on the edge, about one inch up. Make kind of an emo look, but keep the hair out of your face.
For a HUGE look, you can dye long streaks of bright color, like gold, silver, black and red. And purple. And make sure it's more than one color. Cut it about to where you would pierce your earlobes. Make kind of an emo look and dye most of your hair black.
