1. I found out about it after I, along with my classmates in year 9, had to make a Systems Technology project made on scratch.
2. Well yes, because I started it at school and my teacher was pretty pro.
3. Yes. It helps people make their games, play other's games and helps people get feedback, the thing all scratchers like.
4. Not really
(you can leave this one out if you want)
5. Definately Paddle2see and newareagle, as they always give positive feedback. They are always willing to help, like newareagle and making me levels for my new game 'Ramsay'.
6. I like coming back to scratch because I get a chance to show my friends and others online. I can also play my games directly at school using computers during a lesson not relevant to scratch
Nah that's rebellious.
7. I learn little bits on scratch, mainly online but I use scratch mostly to have fun.
8. I really like Grand Theft Auto 4
. Nah my favourite game on scratch is 'Sliders' by slobasso, as I both have fun with the very great puzzles and I am stunned by the professionalism put into the scripts.
9. Me, lol, and I think Dingdong and his games haven't really been found yet by most of us.
10. I enjoy puzzle games!! They contain the least glitches, they can be made simply to be enjoyed and they give scratchers the challenge they like: How smart are they? They are also the only genre on scratch that a person will most likely play regularly.

I do hope that was a joke! We would like Scratch to be a supportive community. We really aren't looking for people whose goal is to be intentionally annoying on the message boards.

1. I actually found out about Scratch on television, from the show "Lab with Leo" on G4 Tech TV.
2. School taught me a lot about the mathmatics behind many of my programs.
3. I'm not sure what NetScratch is!
4. Not really unfortunatly.
5. I haven't really been on here long but most people are supportive and kind.
6. I think it's just the simplicity and ease of use Scratch provides.
7. I'm here for fun and learning just comes with it!
8. If by best game, you mean Scratch game, I really couldn't say. I prefer demonstrative projects over games.
9. I'd like more publicity myself, but Bisonic's projects are good, I especially like the drag and drop ball because it has very realistic bouncing.
10. I like simple games that I can just start playing whenever, puzzle games expecially!
I really couldn't answer the bonus, I haven't been on Scratch very long.

Lol I didnt know so many people thought I was kind! Actually I didnt read all of the questions, so at first i though they were insulting me
Thanks everyone though, I try. Heres a quick go at it:
1. Popsci Magazine.
2. Never did Scratch at School.
3. It matters whether shariables could be updated data (Multiplayer Games.) Otherwise it may have been a waste of server space.
4. Truthfully... I have always tried to work hard on what i do.
5. A lot of the forum community, and a lot of my friends. Also archmage is helping me make my first flash game (we are both contributing) and he has really been patient!
6. I like to see people learn and remix from my projects. Also I like to see other peoples skills grow, and the community grow.
7. A little of each. Making computer/console games is one of the fastest growing markets.
8. On what? Scratch? Well... on scratch.... thats hard because they are so many categories of games.
9. All of them that work hard and dont get enough views.
10. I like puzzle, action, interactive... Anything that gives me ideas for new games.
Bonus: What scratch user in 2008 has really suprised you?
Hmmm... actually bluestribute. At first he wasnt very viewd, but always used the forums and was kind. It seemed liked in no time almost all of his projects were on the front page!

6. I check Scratch every day! I love seeing comments on my projects, new stuff on the front page, and the forums!
7. I am on Scratch to have fun and learn! For me, learning is fun!
8. The best game I've played on Scratch is Ultimate Mine Game Challenge by bosox397! It is amazing!
9. I think every Scratcher should get more publicity!
10. I like playing games based off of real games in real life like, Hangman, Pacman, Pong, Hangman, Mastermind, etc.
Bonus: I think golfer3 suprised me. I thought that he just had publicity by nice comments but it turns out some of the games I liked early on were made by him!

1) I found out about Scratch in school. Look in the "how did you find about scratch?"thread for more info.
2) Ever since I've been on scratch, I've been getting better grades at school.. Some users at my school include hatto, GEEKORAMA, hiltonhead10, haloboy1, jaber4, cartman51, KennyMcCormick, dino27, and TtotheJ.
3) Yes.
4) I've always tried my best on my scratch projects.

6) Probably to gather ideas for new projects so I can showcase them to everybody.
7) I am on Scratch to have fun and learn.
8) God's Quest by demosthenes. That game PWNS!!!
9) I don't know.
10) Puzzle, fighting, scrollers, and RPGs.

1. Searching on the Internet for a free, easy to use game creator.
2. Not really.
3. Yeah, but the beta they published some months ago is REALLY glitchy. And we can still connect projects with Python or chalkmarrow's Snuff.
4. It used to, now I have to concentrate in School.
5. Most people are kind on Scratgch - there are really few exceptions
6. Posting on the forums, lol.
7. Fun. School is for learning.
8. Lots, I can't decide.
9. Those who DO work hard on their projects, yet they don't get popular. There are people who do simple projects (Maskedstar and previously Doody), and somehow get front page. They DON'T deserve it as much as the unnoticed, yet good Scratchers (such as Bisonic, he got great physics on his projects, which I can't even figure out by downloading).
10. Action, and Strategy.
Bonus: I was a newbie back then... I'd say archmage for his great projects, and Paddle2See since he's a really helpful user.
