I love Myst. Has anyone else played it, or Riven, Exile, or any of the games? If so, what did you think?
Also, the music is just epic, just listen to this: http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/ … re=related
PS: YES, I know I have a CD-i version in the picture, but I'm talking about any version. Mac, PC, Sega CD, Playstation, Nintendo DS, iPhone, any of them at all.

I am currently playing them
I finished Myst and Riven and am working on Exile, although the computer I was using is having difficulties and so I haven't played it in a while.
This is definitely the greatest game series of all time!

Yes. Yes it is. Man, I wish I could write a book and then I would get a whole bloody world.

Nope. These type of games are not what I call "fun". Sorry. I do have a copy hidden somewhere.

Myst is a first-person point-and-click adventure game. It was one of the first games to be released only on CD-ROM, and it was the best-selling PC game of all time until The Sims came along in 2002.
Also, how do you know if the CD-i is terrible if you never played one?

Never played it
never plan to

Unfortunately, I didn't have Windows 95, so I couldn't play it.![]()
Is it the 5-Disc version or the 1-Disc version?

That game has been given the Guiness world record for "Least Violent Game"!

Is that bad? It's a good, atmospheric, challenging game, whether it has violence or not is irrelevant.

Last time I wanted to play, my dad said it was too hard for me, and I just dug the games up.
We have Riven and Exile, but I'm not sure about the original.

Too hard? ...These games are about thinking and story. As long as you can think well you can get them down.

I used to have the 5-CD set of Riven, but it fell and broke somehow. But now I have the 3-DVD set of Myst, Riven, and Exile. I beat Riven (with the help of my dad), but that was a while ago. I saw the beginning of either Myst or Exile (can't remember 'cause that was a while ago too).
