.wma sounds not found!

Ok, i want to put some music in my project, so i open up scratch than my computer than i go to where the music is than i go back to scratch and go to the sounds place and do import than i do the same thing as i did with the my computer  thing and the  .wma file is'nt there! i even did it multaple times and it still wasent there! does scratch not accept .wma sounds? also FYI, it shows other music so i don't know whats up. can you help me? PS: i have a cat on me and here''s her message: -
guess she dident want to go on the keyboard...

Scratch probably doesn't support .wma, but I wish it did.

I believe wma is a propietary format, which means that only Microsoft approved products or reverse engineering can read the file. I'd suggest sticking to mp3 for now. There are probably wma to mp3 converters.

And yeah, there are converters.
