music on projects

how do you get music onto your projects? Ive tried to get songs on them but when I try to upload them onto here it says the file is too big or something and it wont come on...

Import them, and you cannot import files from itunes. They must be a certain filetype. I believe wav or mp3. Also if they are like 10 minutes long sometimes they are to big. If you do get one uploaded I suggest going to extras and compressing your sound to "Lowest".

ok maybe i can do it but the songs were from the actual cd so you mean make the music files a bit smaller?

So if my mind is straight, you tried importing them directly from the CD? How long are they? What is the file type? Tell us everything you can...

ummm it was like last year and it was a normal HSM CD, it was MP4 but I was able to switch to an MP3 and it didnt upload all about 3 mins long?

maybe switching it to mp3 made the file size bigger.

lowest!? why lowest, that's only unless you have like 6 songs or the songs or song are extremely long, usually you can do highest and it still compress them by about 2/3! sometimes you can put it at normal and there's still no change in the quality, but its all up to you
