For your purple '?' about Emonga:
Most of the Electric rodents keep their Japanese names, and Nintendo said they will probably keep it.
My least fave name is Snivy. It sounds too fan made. (Which it was, respectively)

No. Just no. Snivy is bad, Tepig is odd (but fits) and Oshawott is cool, but odd. Smugleaf was waaay better. Even if it was fan-made. Doesn't matter, i'll just nick-name them their Japanese names.

I agree with you about Snivy. But I actually really like Tepig and Oshawott

I actually think that both Tepig and Oshawott are good names (but not great), and Snivy sounds like a bad fan-made name. Smugleaf at least showed originality.
In my opinion they totally ruined yet another epic Pokémon w/ the name (Snivy).

TSUTARJA: Snivy
Can't they do better then THIS. SO uncereative.
MIJUMARU: Oshawott
Well, it is better than "Snivy", and sound like an actual pkemon name.
POKABU: Tepig
Read above
ZOROARK: Zoroark
Yay!
EMONGA: Emonga (Highly Likely, but not confirmed)
Yay!
RESHIRAM: Reshiram
ZEKROM: Zekrom
YES!!! I was woried that they would ruin these names, but YES!
Also, they messed up the regon name, Unova or something like that. I am still going to call it the Isshu region. xD
Also, this decribes what I feel about "Snivy" *shudders*:

Zekrom and Reshiram's names were confirmed to be both jap. and english when they were revealed. Unova is slightly worse than Isshu, and I'm pretty sure we can all say that Snivy is a horrible name for such an epic starter.

Oh, I get all my info from serebii so I didn't know about Zekrom/Reshiram. xD

I didn't actually like the name 'Isshu'. It sounds like Issue. I don't want a region thats got issues.
I am slowly more and more despising Snivy. They stole a fan name.
But (GASP) I think it is better than Smugleaf. I always hated that. It sounds stupid, un-pokemonlike (although so does Snivy) and even more fan made than Pignite or Wotter.
Although I am slowly more and more loving Oshawott. EEEE!
Same with Tepig. It sounds awesome.
Overall I am impressed.
And you know we will all get used to the English names. We always do
I'm still not complaining about Piplup. I hated that name at first.

On the forums, or the homepage? Probably the homepage. But that is strange, I have checked serebii daily for probably 9-11 months. Huh.

The homepage. I also looked at the jap. site a few times as well, but I can't read it, so what's the point? I just watched the pre-release videos of the battles.

Alright, my opinion's have been said. In several posts. I'm done.
Snivy: BAD. Smugleaf showed more originality, even if they were both fan-names.
Tepig: Ok, but not great.
Oshawott: See above.
Unova: Ok, but Isshu is better.
Overall it gives a bad impression on B/W. But i'm sure people who didn't know they exist* (!) think they're great.
*A couple of my friends didn't know there was a 5th generation. And they have played every game out there.

I didn't realize they announced the English names yet 'till i just checked the pokemon website. xD I forgot B&W even existed for a while. I was just coming to the forums to make a topic about the names. Looks like you beat me to it! xD
Here's what I think:
Snivy: HATE IT. It doesn't sound like a pokemon. I like Smugleaf better, but I really think they could've come up with something that didn't sound fanbased at all.
Tepig: Meh. Ok, but not great.
Oshawott: I [i]really[i] would rather it be Mijimaru, but, this is OK, I guess. It's better than some other english starter names. This one's best, so I think I'll chose this. Besides, then I'll still be following my tradition to always chose water starters.

At least they got something right. If you listen to the cry (in game), it sounds like a dog, not a fox.
On a slightly similar topic, they have annonced another movie, featuring Zekrom and Victini. But why announce another, when they haven't even translated the Zorua/Zoroark one?
