Honestly, the movies are nowhere near as good as the books to me. Read them.

i've read all the books about 10 times, this is not an exaggeration, i've read and reread the series so many times. you should read them, it looks long but it doesn't feel long when you get into them.
I also saw the newest movie, and it was amazing, i wouldn't wait until it's out on video, i would go see it now because it's one of the best harry potter movies they've ever put together.
