You can't be too young. Only if you go by yourself.

I agree with all of those statements, but the movie was still exellent IMO.

alright I wouldn't call these fails, just changes, most for the better. here is my opinion.

•The gloominess from wearing the locket never affected Hermione (she's more controlled, it was like that in the books too)
•The scene when the locket opened was so over the top (how could Ron see where he was stabbing with all the smoke, too?  ) (i kind of agree it was over the top, but i liked it personally, it was really cool)
•The sword didn't have rubies in it (Wasn't paying enough attention to catch that lol)
•They were supposed to find out about the sword's venom from Griphook, Gornuk, Ted, and Dean rather than a book (lol not a big deal really)
•Harry didn't talk to Krum at the wedding, instead he only saw Xenophilius' necklace (yah they just shortened it, i thought it never bothered me)
•Bellatrix wasn't evil enough    (woah, what's evil to YOU?  she was plenty evil hahaha)
•Wormtail didn't strangle himself and everything (yah, i wondered why they took that out, perhaps we'll find out in part 2)
•They didn't show Potterwatch (yes they did, they just weren't as obvious with it)

•Harry's Patronus used in the Ministry didn't look like a stag; it looked like a white cannonball (that's just special effects, doesn't really matter)
•Kingley's lynx patronus wasn't clear; it just looked like an orb (special effects  )
•Their escape from the Ministry was so much bigger than in the book (thats the film industry for you)
•They didn't give Kreacher the fake locket (yes i liked when they were nice to kreacher in the book  )
•They didn't go into Regulus's story about his death and everything (it would've taken too much time)
•They didn't show Lupin arriving at Grimmauld Place (i hated that scene in the book, it's so sad    )
•They never used the invisibility cloak (lol would'nt of looked as cool with effects)
•They didn't discuss the Hallows and everything (yes they did?)
•They never showed the Taboo (lol that was stupid in the book though, they were like DON'T SAY THE NAME, NO SAY IT, really lame)
•They were caught by Greyback by who-knows-how, not saying Voldemort's name (same as above)
•Harry called Voldemort "You-Know-Who" when there was no need too (same as above)
•Overdramatization    (thats film for you)
•Hermione didn't get her throat cut (i dont remember that part XD)
•Dean Thomas wasn't shown at all (lol that's not very important)
•They didn't show Bill and Fleur at Shell Cottage or anything (they didn't get that far yet hahaha)
•Voldemort wasn't supposed to cast his ultra-pwnage lightning thing after grabbing the Elder Wand (that's just being too picky, it was cool XD)
•Luna's house didn't explode because of the Death Eaters, it was the Erumpent horn (that would've been a waste of time explaining lol)

EDIT:

•When Harry's wand shot golden flames, they didn't make a big deal about it (lol not super important though)
•Hedwig didn't die to save Harry, she died from a missing curse (i liked hedwig dying in a cool manner instead of sadly)
•Hedwig showed who was the real Harry, when in the books they found out because he disarmed someone (yah but they didn't make it his signature spell in the movie)
•Dobby didn't get a proper funeral (in the book, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dean, Luna, Bill, and Fleur were all there) (everyone who truly cared was there, and that's what really matters)

In the book, they discussed them for a while after Xeno had told them the story and went downstairs - stuff like "the stone can't be real" and "pah, there are lots of wands like that; the deathstick, ...", and so on.

@PlayWithFire: Well, I agree that some of it would have been unnecessarily hard, but still... it's a change.
