The Fish Code

Does anyone know what the outline of a fish meant in the like 30 A.D. If so, comment. I'm one.

Re: The Fish Code

Wasn't it a symbol for Jesus or something? I read that once. Tht the latin word for fish was like an acronym for Jesus Christ our Savior or something.

NOT RELIGIOUSLY DISCUSSING THIS. JUST PROVIDING WHAT I KNOW.

Re: The Fish Code

My teacher in grade 5 told me that when the christians were outlawed somewhere, I forget exactly where, and they came upon someone they wern't sure about, they would draw a half fish in the dirt. If the person drew the other half of the fish, they were christian. If not, they should steer clear....

Forget exactly when it was though....
