We get red, white, and blue stripes on our color belts, but for dark blue and black belts, we get 6-month evaluation stripes. We take evaluations every 6 months. And we get a realloy thin red stripe.

Yea, the black belts get 6-month evalution stripes as well. I think they need 6 to get the next degree of black belt. As for the non black belts, we get them every month, with testing eveyone 3 months.

Your karate is almost exactly like mine. It takes you 3 months to get the next belt? Where do you take karate?

USA KARATE (all caps I think) in Cordova, Tennessee. Really Cordova is in Memphis, but meh. We were rated the number one karate school in the US

Well, technically, mine is Tang Soo Do, and I take it at Yi's Karate of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Red: Ready to test
Green: Self Defense
Orange: more self defense
Blue: Forms
Yellow: Basic Technique
I dont need to get these for a little while longer:
Brown: Board Breaks
Silver: Sparring
