creating mpeg file

Hi
so, if my goal is to have an mpeg file of my animation, or some sort of video file i can use with quicktime or some other similar program, can I do this? or can I only watch the animations within scratch or on-line at the scratch website?
thanks,

Re: creating mpeg file

You can only watch your animations in Scratch or on the Scratch website with the tools provided with Scratch. You can, however, use screen capture software such as Camtasia (cost money) or CamStudio (free) that can make a movie out of what is going on inside of Scratch.
