Ok. Just to set you straight.. Harry never actually died in the seventh book. Only the horcrux inside of him died, the Horcrux which Voldemort never intended to make. As to his ethereal experience with Dumbledore... all I can say is that it's set in a magical world, and magical occurrences happen. Harry may have been in limbo between life and death, but he never physically died. That was my rant for the day, which has been confirmed by JK Rowling in a number of interviews. So, yeah =P

Harry doesn't actually die, he dies but has the choice to come back because he had a horcrux bind to him.
