It happens. Not everyone who views posts a reply. Plus, I think every time you go to the page, it counts as a view. So when you're refreshing to check for new posts, that counts as a view.

I'm not sure how that would get off the ground...(Also, how did a retro gaming class get off the ground, too?)

A retro gaming...class? In school?
What exactly are you even learning? An elective.
We also practice writing skills, by writing video game reviews.
Well uh.
I love video games, and I love retro consoles too. But it seems a bit...wasteful for the school to dedicate an entire class, even if an elective, to purely playing (and reviewing) games. I mean, those are funds that could have been used to make other, mandatory classes more interesting.
Then again this is the education system which puts high school sports at a higher level than anything academic, so I guess it's no more wasteful than that. (Not that I have anything against high school sports, there are some talented people there too.)

You can't learn an elective
He wants to know what you're learning in the class, not what type of class it is

Oh I'm not.
Just saying that if more money was put towards recruiting good teachers and paying them well, and less towards more useless things like repainting the school every year, certain elective courses, and to an extent sports, then maybe the education system would be better?
