...that the purpose of is to hate on a project?
I deleted a comments the other day that stated that they hated the project and it was stupid. is it wrong to just delete it?
I would like to know, because some people believe that people who delete negative comments are needy and can't take critism. My opinion is if it's constructive critism, it's good to have. If it's just plain negative, it doesn't belong.
Thanks for your time

Constructive criticism is fine though, but if it's too offensive go and delete/flag it.

delete and report.

Yeah, as long as it isn't constructive, deleting it is probably OK.

You're totally right, negative comments don't belong on anyone's projects. It's definitely OK to delete/report comments you find offensive.
Just wanted to add to this: if you're reporting the comment and the comment is on your own project, hitting the report comment will automatically delete the comment while sending a report to the Scratch Team. So hit "report" instead of deleting the comments outright.
