I'll help! Except I don't know HTML. I'll test extensively though.
I'll have to have a chat to JD1 (the leader) but I'm not sure theres too much point in you helping because we already have enough developers to test it and if you don't know HTML then your not much use, sorry.

How about we use a combination of:
HTML
PHP
J-Script
And others
To make a new Scratch viewer.
It would not use Flash, Squeak, Java or any others.
If we design it to scale to the screen then anything we view it on would be able to view Scratch projects.
If we made it using these we could view any project on a:
I-Pod
I-Phone
DS (with browser game)
DSi
DSi XL
Wii
COMPUTER
And anything else with a web browser!
So can we make it?Ok, one thing you need to know is that HTML is how you code webpages, not applications on the webpage. Php... i'm sure that thats just like HTML, just more advanced, though it might be possible... JavaScrpt is like an extension to HTML (sortta) so I'm not exactly sure how you could write a project viewer with it. I personaly think that this is an impossible task forsaking Flash and Java.
Uh, dude? HTML5? Hello?
And you can also make full featured games with HTML5, and it's still in development. So I think they can do this.

Ok, I just read all 850 posts to get myself up to date and am thinking that:
You were failing till page 9 and relied on nxiii till p15.
You really need a direction: you're all over the place.
You need a good web server. I own fridgecow.com, I an give you a subdomain.
And you need some more coders. I can help with the JS, HTML, PHP and Scratch. Need a recap on canvas but I do remember making some kind of drawing app once...
I reckon MathWizz needs to rename those arrays (if he can be bothered, I know it's a big job) to something useful and relevant to what they are.
With your onscreen keyboard problem, whats wrong with making a text input, giving it constant focus and doing some code onchange()? That will keep the keyboard up and will be useful on big devices like iPad: A simple PHP redirect would be in order.
I can work on JS equivalents to Blocks, even if you don't accept me as a dev I'll still do it!

OK, my current functions can be found at scratch.fridgecow.com/block.js
Feel free to download, save it re-upload it or whatever. I'm starting with the motion blocks.

When this is finished, do you think we should present it to the Scratch Team as an alternative way to view projects?

Good news! The HTML player CAN play big projects. There is a glitch that made the player read more than 4 billion bytes from the project! Now I will find it and fix it.

Where does it get 4gb out of a 5kb project?

Updated my script.
MathWizz: How do you make a PHP file return as a MIMETYPE jpg/image? I wish I could do that... Imagine the possibilities! Unfortunately, PHP is server side, couldn't look at your code
