When was Scratch created?
Does anybody know when Scratch was created? Once I've got an answer can the mods close this topic? Thanks.

I think around March 2007... I can't believe the Scratch Wiki didn't have the answer

I think it was May 2007 or something in that range. Spring sounds right for sure though.

It was released in early 2007, but the beta versions apparently existed for a while... Here's a post about Scratch from 2005.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
