Help

I am trying to selectively delete one specific item off of one of my lists...  And can't figure out how to do it... Anyone have a hint?

Thanks,

Re: Help

This would go all about scratch. Afaik you just use the delete item_ of list block and tyoe the number of the item you want.

Re: Help

no, I know that, but my game is a sims game with the object at a different point everytime the project plays.   I need it to recognize the word "tree," delete it from the inventory, and then leave all the other objects as is.

Re: Help

There's no real easy way of doing that, but it's possible. Make a variable... call it "listCheck" or something, then do this:

It can be a laggy process if there's lots of items, so if you have a long list, make sure you also have a "please wait" screen.

BTW, in the future, any Scratch-related topics should go in All About Scratch.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
