Wait a minute...

One third = 0.33333...
Two thirds = 0.66666...
Three Thirds (One Whole) = 0.99999... or 1?

(1/3)*3 does equal 0.9999999999999999999999999999..., but rounded, it's one.

Then why isn't a third 0.3? Or two thirds 0.7? Based on your logic.

A slight nitpick about this post, you do not actual round anything. Here is a pretty common proof:

x = .99999...
10x = 9.99999...
10x - x = 9
9x = 9
x = 1

I know what you meant, but I had a problem about this a couple minutes ago and felt an urge to correct the post  big_smile

No, it's not. It's 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342117067982148086513282306647093844609550582231725... You know what, I should stop there...

At any rate, since this is Miscellaneous...

Re: Wait a minute...

That's the first 6 digits of pi, but I don't get where the 14 comes in.

...if it even does.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
