Lists Problem

In Mac OS X 10.6.4, on Scratch 1.4, when you try to import an extremely large .txt file into a list, the program freezes and you have to force quit it. Please help!!! I could make this really great project if only this feature worked.  sad   mad   mad   mad   mad   mad   mad   mad

Re: Lists Problem

Scratch does have its limits, and it's important not to push it beyond those limits. Shortening the list should do what you need.  smile

Re: Lists Problem

And if your list can't be shortened, try making different lists.

After all, Scratch just doesn't work right with long lists, so don't bother to import them.
(I've tried that before.)

Re: Lists Problem

Thanks mathematics and coolstuff this helped. I separated it into smaller .txt's and imported them all to the same list.  smile
