NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Thats no fair... they would have to

Build the J-2X engine in one day
Get the orion preped and fueled
Get the pressure stable for sure
Make sure the temp is not under 42degrees (or else solid rocket booster would not exspand and pressure would decres and you wont get the requird mach 4 to leave the earth.
An adaptor would be needed for the ISS
Solor pannels would need to be prepared for flight, would need a ALTAIR craft for the moon and a rocket to get to mars
Heat shields for reentery
A carbon to fuel maker
and a regolift to energy maker
Yes there is no way you would get up in the space...
(retired space shuttles a week or two ago)

I knew all of this off the top of my head, im a space freak and you can see whay im called a nerd

Nope, the Ares program starts in 5 years HA So nasa has no space craft for human use right now, and you would not be able to get into space

Actually they only retired Atlantis and Endeavor. Discovery was delayed and is going up for the last time November 30th. And besides, they already built a prototype of the Ares 1, so maybe Jean can take that  smile  Not that she'll get very far...

Re: If the world was to end tomorrow...

You know, I've thought about this a little just about every time I think of 2012.  lol  I really don't know what I would do. Probably stuff I'd be too scared to do if we weren't all going to die anyway.
I'll have to think about this a bit more...

Yes, the take was so unrealiable still no air would be pumped in and its just filled with sencoros, she could be a test person to see how people react with no air in a space craft
