NaNoWriMo Anyone?!

IS ANYONE HERE DOING NANOWRIMO?

For any sad person who does not know, NaNoWriMo is an acronym for National Novel Writing Month.

You must write a 50,000 word novel before the end of November.

I'm doing it! Is anyone else? I suggest it to anyone and everyone! Except now it's a little late in the month.

I need to get to writing - but if anyone is doing it, post your stats here, what you're writing about and I'll paste your name up on the list for who's writing in it!

So far I've done 13,189 words, I'm 26% of the way there! AND I NEED ALL THE MORAL SUPPORT I CAN GET BECAUSE I THINK I MIGHT DIE.

It's really intense and I'm dying. Up to 13,000 words! Hope I can win! Questions or comments, just ask or visit the NaNo site!

NaNoWriMo.org

Over 900 million are doing NaNo!

Hehe, it's hard. But you can't let your inner editor get to you. Just write. I have to write 2173 words per day.  tongue

I did that last year. I got about 10,000 words in and fell flat in terms of creativity.  wink

It's still cool you participated. I finally finished for tonight, but I might write a little more. I'm 26% of the way there. Yay me!

I suggest trying it again - but this time, brag about it so when you want to quit, you feel humiliated, so you don't! That worked for me! I think I'm going to die - so many words. Not to mention my novel is about death XD

It's pretty fun and pretty cool. There are 900 million people doing it and it's cool to be part of something like that!

O_O... I forgot about it...

I don't think I've got enough time to try to write 50,000 words now, but good luck  smile

It is not an acronym if you have part words in it

The acronym would be NNWM

But whatever

And this thing is pretty old

Re: NaNoWriMo Anyone?!

The longest story I ever wrote was only a 1,800 word short story.  I could never write 50,000.
