It just wouldn't work. You don't have a keyboard or the mouse, arrow keys and such. You have a very small screen, the paint editor would be hard, dragging blocks and forming scripts would be a mess - and why would the Scratch Team bother? Just use a computer - and if you want Scratch portable, a laptop.

Besides, does the DS support Squeak?
