Historically the best Scratch projects have always been made by 1 or maybe 2 people. I don't see that changing anytime soon purely due to how hard it is to coordinate large teams, clashing views of what the product should be, ego fights, people having real lives and different schedules, etc. But hopefully someone will prove me wrong someday.
Either way at least you guys tried I guess.
