I know who John Brown is! I'm one of the biggest history nerds in the class. 100% on all tests, 98/100 on graded project, I believe way higher than most kids? We're learning a whole day on him and what he did. I know.

He claimed he recieved a message from God to end slavery, and he was willing to kill people for his cause. Yes, he killed pro slavery men, and was considered the first American "serial killer" according to my awesome history teacher. He wanted to give guns to slaves so they could fight back.

I wouldn't call him horrible, even though not exactly good either :T He was like a violent mini soldier before the Civil War even started.
