Happy Veteran's Day!
As you probably know, today is Veteran's Day, which honors all those who have given their service to the military. I'm wearing some red, white, and blue to honor them.
Do you know anyone who served in the military? A couple of teachers at my school did and so did my one grandpa.

I'm just happy that there's is no school. That doesn't mean I don't remember the real meaning. Both my grandfathers fought in the army, and so I really learn to appreciate and thank them for their duties.

Tomorrow I'm one of the 8th grade ambassadors for the veterans who come in. 
My grandpa used to be on their American Legion Post, and he came into our class last year. R.I.P.

My great great uncle was an anti-aircraft gunner on the USS West Virginia in the pacific during WW2, and my great grandpa was an Army engineer, and went to Guadalcanal. I know a few guys who have been to Iraq, too.

You know, September 11 needs to be made a national holiday. Maybe the american version of "Remembrance Day".
