Windows. I have an ubuntu CD, but the computer I tried it on doesn't have enough RAM
Use a lighter weight distro such as unity(ubuntu based, looks great), or lubuntu(again, ubuntu based).

Windows is Ok because of all the people that use it. Mac is a rip off. So I'll have to say Linux (Mainly Ubuntu). Because you can customise it much more than the others.

Linux!
It's free.
And kind of amazing, actually. Who could have imagined that tens of thousands of people would donate their time and energy so that thousands more could benefit from their work, and have a free OS and software?

This is why I voted for it too. I love being able to customise every aspect of it without breaking the terms of use of the software.
