I don't think I'll do it in this case, though - I don't see this suggestion as awesomely important.

True, but new scratchers will think just pressing the button will make blocks, but you'd need the bbcode.
Then a lot of topics will appear saying "how do you make blocks?"
Hm... It's something to consider.
Also, they should make one page with links to all guides, and put it where the "happy 2011" banner should be.
The page that it links to would have bbcode explanation on it.

Good point! Hmm... Well, at least there's instructions in the reply box to add [blocks] and [/blocks], but no one follows that anyway...
