Is geekiness a good thing?

For my opinion, geeks are somewhat like an important group to our culture. We know pi, like I can say it to 31 places off the bat. We also have the best programs. So, Perhaps geeks are just the geniuses that work on computers, do math, and play video games like Pokemon. Be sure to post your opinion on geekiness and tell if you are one or not. Remember, to me, being a geek is like an honor. Be sure to post!

Those are just stereotypes
People can do or know those things without being a geek

I usually see 'geeks', stereotypes, as people with thick-rimmed glasses, braces and a full fringe. Don't be offended if I just described you.
It's odd, I used to be a real nerd, but now I'm not at all nerdy. And I now have a side fringe.  smile

Lol. Two years ago I couldn't make ANYONE laugh!  lol P
I really like contacts, I don't wear them, but my friend does, it makes him look cooler.
And yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Computers don't mean you have to be a geek. At least we don't just gawp at shop windows or go murder a tree.  smile
I'm a lot more popular now I've been at high school for a year, and I'm not mocked like I was. I mean, I'm nicer than some people in my class, they're obsessed with makeup, hair, shoes etc.. It's annoying, because they prance around loving themselves and I'm like, ok, I wear makeup and always do my hair, but I never want to be like you, posers!!!  mad

Looks like this topic belongs in Miscellaneous, however, as the owner is not able to post there yet, I'll close this for now. Lucariolu, please feel free to remake this thread in Miscellaneous once you are able to post there  smile
