Wouldn't it be neat if you could "sticky" the first post on a thread you make to the top of ALL the pages the thread winds up being? This could be very helpful for requests and the "Nominate____for____" (example- nominate a project to get featured) so that people who are too lazy to go back to the first page to read the requirements/ what you want will see the post. It could be the entire first post or a shortened version that would be stickied to the top of each page of the thread.

That's a good idea... but there's so much to do, it might be hard to get to it!
One thing you could do is see if someone has already made an extension for punbb / fluxbb forum software that does that. If you can find one, it might make it easier to try this. It could take a lot of googling / research though.

That sounds like a good idea. You'd have to make sure that the post would stand out, and not look like a post in the middle of the conversation. Otherwise, it'd get confusing.
