Could I be interviewed as well? Just for simplicity's sake, I'll answer the questions, and if you choose me to be in the mag as well then you have you're answers.
I started in January 2008. My first project was Jerk Cat, which my dad helped me make. It featured 2 cats who were having a conversation. My second project was Recorder Hero. Like Guitar Hero, but with real recorder sounds. My class was given recorders for music class, so I brought mine home and started working on it. I was just a novice, so I didn't know much about making a guitar hero game in Scratch. That was all on my old acount, RaccoonMedia.
My dad showed me. He sent me a link by e-mail to Scratch. I checked it out and then went to some other website. Then my dad got home and had Scratch on a disc. He installed it onto the computer, and I started using Scratch.
I would change some of the lag you get. I hate having a project lag online because of my scripts. I use lots of "When green flag clicked, forever, if" scripts, so it lags it. The only ways to get around lag is to play it in presentation mode, or to re program you're game and use lots of small scripts.
A review for what? Scratch? I give it a 9/10. The only things I don't like are all the pointless, kinda mediocre games you need to browse through in order to find good ones. The best way to find great games, are by viewing certain users projects. But that leaves all the talent tucked in with all the the not so good projects. I don't want to be a jerk or anything, but you have to agree. Lots of the projects on Scratch are that good. The ideas are great, don't get me wrong, but just the apperance and programming is wack.
I like to make all sorts of projects. I find my self with lots of animations though. I really want to get into scrolling projects, but I never really got all that stuff. You try to find a decent scroller to see how it works, and you are bombarded with variables and numbers left right, and center. It just stunns the average person.

When did you start using scratch?
Well, I was brousing the club penguin forums when I found some games made by them on scratch. I started scratching when I found it out from... Oh god I forgot.
How did you even find out about it?
^^^^^^^^Read top answer^^^^^^^
What would you change about Scratch?
I would change how the "Next costume" Block works. Why not highlight all the costumes you want, Then put in that block, then it will only do those costumes? Makes it WAY easier.
If you could give a review what would you say?
4 words. Best, Proggraming, Game, and ever.
What kind of projects do you like to make?
Club penguin ones ^_^
