I've read that. Well, I've read a little more than half of the series

Uhh.. I don't have much to suggest though. There's the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books, anything by Dr. Seuss, and practically anything by Jerry Spinelli

The Lost Hero

I haven't actually read it, but it's the new Camp Half-Blood series so I assume it will be good.

Well, because I had no agent they took around 3 months to accept the manuscript which is complete. Then they need to agree with a slip design (Front cover and back) with me and then they start printing (Perfect bound)

So yeah, around 8 months yet I rekon  yikes  Anyway, I get to design my own front cover on their special program, or I can pay extra and let a pro do it for me. And I get 3 dedications. One might go to Scratch  wink

If you like adventure books, then Peak and Cryptid Hunters by Roland Smith are really good.

Maniac Magee is one also of my favorites. I still cry every time I read it, and I've read it at least ten times  tongue
But, my absolute favorite book ever is The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. Yes, I know, it's a picture book, but still. (Also makes me cry every single time I read it, though I've read that one at least fifty times)
Also, the Wreck of the Zephyr (Probably spelled that wrong) by Chris van Allsburg (Probably spelled that wrong). Great book, even though it doesn't have many words
I love the Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein (Probably spelled that wrong). And, yep, that makes me cry every time I read it, too

I sound like a baby now.. XD (But, really, some of these kids books are more than just some rhyming words and colorful pictures made to appeal to children..)

Here's the first sentence:

On the morning of the best day of her life, Maud Flynn was locked in the outhouse, singing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic."

Re: Any good books?

Harry Potter, The Clique, and House of Night are all awesome books. I also really want to read Pretty Little Liars. Do you think the series is good?
Anyway, some books I would recommend are the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld, The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, and The Giver by Lois Lowry.
