IN response to what else you said, almost 100% of the time a project is requested to be featured, and it meets that requirements, it will be featured. YOu don't actually get a response, but you will see it on the front page.
When you're there say why you want the project to be featured.
To get there just click his link.

You can't feature your own project.

I think they mean you should look at it and tell them if you think it has a chance for somebody to recommend it.
