Presentation mode in normal window (instead than in fullscreen)

It wold be very good if the presentation mode wouldn't fit always the maximum size of the screen but it would be embedded in a normal window. By doing this, motiple instances of projects using meshes could be run a the same time on the same PC with all the stages visible at the same time.

Just to give an example of how this could work, the project simulating the Scratch board could be run in an instance of Scratch and another instance could sense the values from the simulator. Furthermore, nintendo DS like programs (that is, double screen programs, could be run in two different instances.

A fullscreen window is something I've been thinking about for a while too. Then you can have the fullscreen window open or minimised without the need for the scratch code to be seen once it's closed. I think an option to remove the start and stop buttons should be included so that that very annoying black border can be removed  smile

Make it an option/setting, if this happens.

if we're talking about squeak here, making it not fullscreen is a one-line edit! see Bingo 1.3.0.

If it's flash we're talking about, Scratch probably wont look the same way as it does currently, so we'll just have to wait and see...  wink

Re: Presentation mode in normal window (instead than in fullscreen)

Interesting idea. Since we're mostly focus on 2.0 nowadays, we should think through how this might work. Perhaps there should be a "full window" mode - wherein the stage fills the window as best it can. That way you could have multiple browser windows open on the same screen, each with its own project.

You can do that.

Wait. Only on Macs.

Sorry if you have a Windows.

That's why you should get a Mac.
