Instead of just working seperately on a single project, what if there was a way we could work on a project with multiple people at the same time! It would make collaborations and companies fun and easy!
I was thinking of a system where people all looked at one screen of the scratch program, and anyone could drag scripts, and there would be a chat box to the side.
Please consider!
Thanks.

sort of like google docs? i like the idea- it could be a part of how scratch is going to be online

Great thinking!
But the scratch team does not want chatrooms.
But again, comments and forum posts can be very similar to chatrooms already.
Perhaps this could work, but collaboration would have to be very public, anyone can watch, and strict rules and/or controls, and ways to report and respond to inappropriate behavior.
But then also, making real-time collaboration work well is HARD. you have to trust everyone on the team, and/or have strict controls on what people can edit and ways to undo vandalism/accidents. it requires much more complicated server software and scratch program...
Most of the issues would probably be with people being people. But if done right, it could be very cool!
See wikipedia, a bunch of people work on that, perhaps that model may work for some types of scratch projects.
I think we should also think of other ways for teams and like minded people to work together on projects. (For example we already have private galleries that companies can use. And we can REMIX other people's projects How could we change those to help collaboration more.)
