How to use a custome in a sprite as a variable for a conditional

Hi,

Mi name is Juan David and I'm using Scratch for a class project in the university. The idea is to create a dancer (say the teacher dancer) who moves and the user of the game has another dancer (say the student dancer) that moves in the same way pressing indicated buttons. So the teacher dancer needs to say something acording to the custome (dancing possition) that has in a specific moment. ¿How can I use the custome of a sprite a variable to be used with the If conditional?

:... Umm I think that I have already the answer... I will create another variable that can be used to control the apearence of the dancers... I will probe and tell you after a while.

Cheers,

Offray
