Retired Community Moderator

It has been great serving the Scratch Community as a moderator. The experience was amazing to help the Scratch Team keep the community safe and clean. It felt great preventing problems and making others feel happier.

I wanted to say thank you to everybody for letting me be a moderator during the first moderator elections. I'm glad to have been a mod and I hope you guys think I did a good job. Thank you to the moderators that I worked with. It has been excellent working with you guys and for helping me when I needed it. And last, thank you to the Scratch Team for allowing me to be a candidate and for trusting me with moderator abilities.

So that is really what this thread is about, me saying thank you to the Scratch Community. I hope I have the chance to run for moderator once I turn 14 years old so I can help the Scratch folk once again.

And good luck to the new moderators. You will do great in taking my place, as well as the Illusionist's.

Thank you. It means a lot to me. I sure will keep on coming on Scratch. My goal now is to make more projects now that I don't need to moderate.

Is it true that you still can mod a bit but you don't have to mod all the time? that's what either coolstuff or Lightnin said. I can't wait to see your new projects. I have 2 ridiciously long projects that i am working on now  tongue

On a serious note (and I'm sure I've said something like this before, but it's true) - it was a great experience to be "one of the team" with you two. And best of luck with running for mod again once you're 14 ^^

No, not entirely. They can't moderate. They don't have the powers to close topics, or ban users. But they'll still be invited to beta test like we get to.  smile

Have a nice day everyone...and scratch on...

You guys (Dazachi and Illusionist) did great as mods.  smile

Maybe if Demosthenes and fullmoon do bad as mods, you may get your titles back.  big_smile
(Just Kidding, I think they will do as good as you two did.)

Re: Retired Community Moderator

You, as well as illusionist, both did *very* great as mods. Obviously you tried your best and put in lots of effort, and it is quite a disappointment that you had to leave. Hopefully you guys can try again when you are 14 as you mentioned, so we can have you guys back  smile .
