Oh? So I've heard, as well, but I've never really payed any attention to that. My family just calls it Holland...  tongue  All my grandparents were born there but fled during, or just after, WWII.

Right now I live in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, but I was raised in Memphis.

As for ancestry, one of my grandfathers on my mother's side was Caucasian, one was Native American, and the rest of my ancesters are African and African-American.

My roots can be tracked all the way back to a plantation (forgot the name of it) on which the slave owner had over 200 slaves. I also have an aunt and a cousin that were born in, and live in England  tongue

I think I may Mexican blood in me too, because Mexicans come from the Native Americans who lived in the area that is now called Mexico.

My mother's family name is traced back to as early as the 1500s  tongue
