Hi! I'm working on a program that needs to read and write to a text file, it reads item's names, quantities and descriptions and needs to be able to change the file when the quantity or other attribute of an item is changed.
Now seeing as this project is dealing with hundreds of items, it takes a very long time to copy each line of the contents file to Panther, make a change, then write the whole thing back, overwriting the old data.
The entire project would run a lot faster with two CYOB blocks that I dearly need to continue with it,
[clear line $String$ of file $String$]
and
[write $String$ to line $Number$ of file $String$]
If anyone can code those, or help code them, that would be greatly appreciated... I'd add the block to the block library too

You can try talking about this where the smart squeakers work, like me, at Cool custom blocks in scratch

Like you? That's definitely self-centered. Please stop acting like that.
And also, I dont think so, because it's for Scratch, not Panther!
