Re: Murderer...

Mark Chapman, I believe
And yeah. He was shot. Right in front of the appartment building where he lived, in New York. I've been there.
And it was December 8th, not November
And the year was 1980

...And the guy who did it is still in prison.

You didn't know that John Lennon was shot?  yikes

And I believe you mean 1980 not 1890.

The rest of my family likes John Lennon, too
And, yeah, I forgot to include that Mark Chapman is still in prison. Which, yeah, he is; my sister and I were just discussing that a few days ago

Re: Murderer...

Um, John Lennon was in the Beatles...
He had little glasses like this  O-O
The minute he was shot, he crawled up the stairs of the apartment building, said 'I'm shot' and the guy at the desk grabbed his glasses and that was it.

Oh, and he died. Just so you know.

Re: Murderer...

My friends dad was in the elevator with Chapman at the hotel he was staying at, and had no idea who Chapman was. Later that day, he saw the news of John Lennon's murder on TV.
