Mischief Night is the day before Halloween when jerks run around the streets at night vandalizing peoples yards, most commonly toilet papering the trees and egging your car and what not. It's not very common in the south, but this morning I found my streets mailboxes (houses on my street don't have individual mailboxes) poorly wrapped in toilet paper. A few years back when I lived on the east coast, my dads old Volkswagen van got egged and they even broke the drivers side window. Have you been hit?

No, but a street near us was, and because of it the biggest, most decorated, most candy- giving-est house in our county is taking down its decorations and not giving out candy!
It was the only house we were going to visit, they gave away so much last year you only needed to visit it to have a night's worth.

No. But another person who had their car egged, chased the vandals that did it and had a heart attack and crashed.

No, but a few years back someone threw an egg at our house and put shaving foam all over the cars.

My country's laws are really strict. You'll probably get jailed for that. No surprise, really, seeing as YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO EVEN [removed] SELL [removed] CHEWING GUM!

Not this year, but a few years ago. The side of my house was covered in ketchup, eggs, cupcakes, toilet paper, and um... paintballs.

Not me. But my friend Ryan brough like 16 people trick or treating to my house last night. Not celebrating Halloween ftw ;D
Anyway, I don't think mischief night is common in the South.
