One of the longer english words. It's a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silicia dust. Otherwise known as silicosis. Because unawesome people are too unawesome to say the whole thing. Although I might make an exception for the scientists who study Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, because they have to say it everyday XD

Alright, I finally got around to memorizing the words.
Supercallifragilisticexpalidocious
and
Pnuemonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
For all you people out there melting at my two memorized words, I did not use magic, nor is my memory fantastic. Although it tends to be better when memorizing long words but lousy when recalling chinese words. Anyway, split the word into smaller words. For example, Pnuemono, learn how to spell. Then learn ultra, then microscopic, and once you've memorized the sequence, just string them together. Really very easy.

Very interesting. Write more without the internet.

Where I live, we're taught that either way is acceptable
But I don't see the purpose of this thread..

I think of a comma used to separate items of a list as an "and" (and it makes sense, such as oranges and apples and pears), so if you use the comma as well it would be "oranges and apples and and pears". Just saying, first time I knew this rule differs through AE and BE.
And for the last sentence, just something to raise discussion about everything mentioned in the starting post... ^.^

Long word frenzy:
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious(Used purely to show a very long word)
Pnuemonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis(A lung disease caused by inhaling too much very fine silico particles)
Hippotomonstrosesquippedaliaphobia(Fear of long words XD)
Nonantidisestablishmentarianism(Not supporting not seperating the church and the state)

Antidisestablishmentarianism. Yay.
And people in different countries spell differently, i.e. jewellery and doughnut.
And don't hate me for spelling my name the American way, 'doughnut' wouldn't fit in my name lol

I'm making up my own word. My challenge to you is to say it correctly once without messing up
Gugantriaritiallalistifellunejugelaripomisticetoll.
GOO-gan-TREE-ahr-E-tie-AHL-lah-LIHS-tiff-EHL-oon-AY-joog-EHL-ahr-E-pom-IHST-ick.
Actually, I didn't make it up. It's my friend's made up word :D It's supposed to mean "Icky Foot Disease." She wanted to sound scientifcal when she told this really smart (but mean) guy she spilled jam in her P.E. socks.
