I just went and got candy myself. I got a LOT.
Sometimes I felt like I was a bit old for it, but it's free candy. I'm not passing that up.

LUCKY! I get over 50 a night (I live by a park)

With my brother in college and my mom accompanying me while I was trick-or-treating, nobody was giving out candy this year at my house.

I sorta handed out candy tonight. Me and three others of my friends went to a pair of their grandparents' (two are twins) house and handed out candy there. We made up a lot of skits we would perform to creep out any trick-or-treaters who came by.
My favourite one was when I was stuffed in a closet, one of my friends would have a candy bowl and act normal, and another would walk by casually and open the closet, then I would fall out dead. He would yell for the fourth guy to help him drag me out of sight from the trick-or-treaters, and the one with the candy bowl would smile and act like nothing happened.
Or another time me and one of them would put on bowler hats and sunglasses, stand outside the door on either side of the stairs leading up to it, and just stand there and stare emotionless at people who walked up. You wouldn't imagine how weirded out people got.

I only trick or treated for about half an hour (I got, like, half a bag of candy still though) then I went back to my friends' house (Well, my mom's friend's house, but I'm friends with her daughters so yeah) and handed out candy for about ten minutes. Then I went to the basement and read "Days With Frog and Toad" until it was time to leave
But, back at my house, we got no trick or treaters at all. My grandparents stay home every year and give out candy, and they said NO ONE came. So no one saw my John Lennon pumpkin :(

A John Lennon pumpkin! Imagine that!
We were passing out candy again this year...but nobody showed up. So now we have this big bowl of candy to get rid off. Yum.
