Hey, can an object in Blender be exported as a file and read as a 3D object by a programming language like C+? What I'm trying to say is can I use blender to make 3D sprites (actual 3D, not using in scratch later as a series of costumes)

You can export as 3D I think (90% sure)
Hows this a Scratch topic?

You can export 3d objects a number of ways, to just about anything, including scratch.
This is a complicated problem.
What exactly are you trying to do?
Are you making a 3d game? Are you using a game engine like unity or ogre 3d? (recommended. if so, google "blender to unity" for example.) or are you trying to make your own? (good luck. google things like "blender to opengl c++")

It's more of a quesition for the future, I collaberate with a friend and we develop games together, I progam and he does graphics and storyline. I was looking into 3D game making for future development
Thanks for your help
out of intrest, short of saving an image of a 3D object from every angle then uploading the images as costumes to a sprite, how is a 3D object imported to Scratch?

From what I've seen, you can port Blender models to unity and softimage, but I don't know about anything else
