ok im going from memory
Gir is a fictional character from a cartoon series called Invader Zim which aired in the early 2000s. Invader Zim aired on Nickelodeon, but after a few seasons, Nick cancelled the show because they thought it was too "violent" for their younger audiences. (which it wasn't)It was probably cancelled because the creator of Invader Zim ( i forget his name) put Gir in the opening sequence for like a 10th of a second. You can barely see it. But when you pause at a certain moment in the opening sequence it looks like Gir is covered in blood hence the character "Bloody Gir". When Nick found this out they cancelled Invader Zim, but the creator refered to it as just a joke and he said he would never bring Invader Zim back.
how i know all this i dont know. must of read it on Wikipedia a few years back 0_o
