Cannot open file: Squeak is low on memory

I have been working on a project for a few months, and it has become exceedingly big, 310MB. Yesterday, when I tried to open it, it came up with an error message saying that Squeak was almost out of memory and it also gave some advice of what to do. I followed it but my file will still not open. I had a look on the forums, and followed the advice on there, including:

1.Set the priority for RAM higher for Scratch.exe.

2.Increase the virtual memory file on your hard disk in the control panel.

I tried both of these things, but it is still not working.

Can anyone help please, this is a very urgent project, I have to hand it in tomorrow, could you please reply ASAP.

Thanks,

Edward

310 megabytes!? I'm not surprised that Squeak is running low on memory (10 megabytes is the limit for sharing projects online). What sort of project are you making?

It did something for me, too.

The project was 136 MB for me, though.

If you have sounds or images, try compressing them.
