I agree! It's both simple, and complex at the same time! It doesn't involve a lot of programming to do, however it's still smooth and fun! It shows what you can do with even only little knowledge of programming!

well, you can do that in other parts of the Show&Tell forum that aren't as crowded. :3

My friend Jasmidge, who I have proposed featured many times, finally got featured and I am very happy for her. But she broke a rule on the list because a day after she was front-paged (Top-remixed, puppy mill) she was featured. This was completely against the rules and I wanted to ask, must the rules always be followed? Can we break the rules sometimes? Or is this just a Holliday exception? Please answer. Thanks.

I think the rules only apply to recommending projects - if a Scratch Team member finds and likes a project by themselves, the rules don't necessarily apply

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT POST!!!!!!!
There is a mistake on the first post.

These are the kind of things we're looking for:
1. simple projects
2. complex projects IT'S A PARADOX!!!
3. projects that show an innovative use of Scratch
4. project that promote collaboration and remixing
5. projects that show the diversity in our community (gender, age, culture, country, interests, etc)
6. project that different kind of people would find enjoyable
7. projects that inspire
A project CANNOT be submitted if it...
1. was created by you. This means that you CANNOT submit your project. Clear?
2. was created by someone whose project(s) have been on the front page already in the last six months (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
3. was shared less than 1 week ago
4. uses media (music, images, etc) from a commercial entity such as Nintendo, Sega, Disney, TV shows, movies, etc.
5. has received more than 10 love its already.
6. has violence including weapons, hurting animals or people
7. contains language inappropriate for all ages
8. is a copy of a commercial game or story, it's OK if it is inspired by though
9. has been on the front page already (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
10. doesn't work well online
See? One thing was written twice, and the other states a paradox.

The thing is not a paradox It means they are looking for simple and/or complex projects, not both at the same time.

well, they DO seem to totally pwn eachother. xD
@henely: the ones that were 'written twice' aren't the same thing; the first one is if that person's projects have been front paged in less than 6 months. the second one is if that project has ever been front paged; get it now?

Before I disappear into shadowland, I'd like to propose that Maurer Rose be featured.
This project by TheVikings deserves to be featured because:
1. It appears to be the result of friends working together
Collaboration? Most certainly. When friends get together, that's collaborating, isn't it?
2. It's simple
It may be 1s1s, and it certainly is simplistic, in terms of scripts and actions.
3. It's innovative
Screensaver-like projects are rarely seen on Scratch, and even then, rarely match this in terms of quality.
4. It's inspiring
When was the last time you saw a screensaver that you could change colors on without complex command line options or fiddling around in a settings panel? Besides, it's very cool. It took a while for me to figure out how it worked.
See it in action!

I would like to propose this tetris game by nelson345. It is a great scratch remake of the game tetris, and has many of the features any game of tetris would have, and it definetly deserves to be featured.
