Just a little advice to those of you lolspeakers out there...

If you use text speak or lolspeak, I think it sometimes lowers other's opinion on you.

For example, if I read a paragraph on cookies or something, and the whole time the guy/girl talking about what talking liek dis, it would get increasingly hard to read it and I would eventually give up.

And I can't fly across the world or whatever to meet you and talk to you; I'll just have to go by what you say on the Internet where I can converse with you, but not directly.

However, if the writer uses correct grammar, I can understand the paragraph and enjoy it.

And I just wanted to put my opinion out there; I have nothing against anyone who uses lolspeak or incorrect grammar, and I would hate to see this thread explode in flames.

I could really care less about how people type and spell. Unless they're using numbers instead of letters- then I just get annoyed.

No, let's get back on topic. I hardly ever use 1337 on Scratch, but I always use lolspeak in texts.
And I make sure it's semi-understandable.

Well, like I said, I can't converse directly with someone who uses that, so I don't know if they're just too lazy to type correctly or if they don't know how to use the English language or something.

But I know Recycle more or less well for a while, so I know he is really smart.

But like they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.  smile

The only time you should use lolspeak is when you're texting, and you have a limited number of characters you can use, IMHO.  hmm
