Everyone I know thats been homeschooled liked it, actually. I don't think I would like it, though. Being at home would be too distracting

Re: Home-Schooled?

online schooled. pretty much home schooled (which is what I've been in the past), but all my lessons are online and I have teachers instead of my mom  tongue  so yeah. I could never stand public school. The American public school system, elementary and middle school in particular, pretty much stinks.

Nope. And I'm glad because there's more knowledge among teachers than two parents. My school has expert teachers in many areas Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Mathmatics ect.

last I checked, being forbidden to say the word "Jesus" in usage other than an exclamation is denial of freedom of religion. Nuf said, lets move on.

My opinion of public school comes from family and experience, not television by the way.

Re: Home-Schooled?

Homeschooling apparently isn't possible here in Chile D: Either that or it's so rare I haven't seen it.

Re: Home-Schooled?

I'm kind of Homeschooled. I do my work on the computer, but the school has a thing on Monday and Wednesday when you can do art for the amount of a regular public school day and you are actually with people. They have dancing, music, acting, theater, puppetry, 2d and 3d art classes and more. It's awesome.

Re: Home-Schooled?

but the advantage of public/private schooling is you get to see your friends everyday opposed to being trapped in your house everyday...just saying

Re: Home-Schooled?

My opinion is from a bit of researching, homeschooling is just better for certain people others. It can benefit you, but also do the opposite; it varies.

Though my question to you home schoolers are; when do all you get to learn other important life skills, such as prioritizing work time, being able to protect your self from negative people/bullies, and stress? Those are all common things that happen in real life work; so although being able to wake up whenever you want, do your learning and working whenever you want, might be nice, it's very different from actual jobs where you have to get to work at 8:30 AM and then can go home at 5:30 PM.

Well, I think that's pretty fair. For the most part, people at school don't talk about religion much. This is because it's a sensitive topic, just like death, and politics.

Re: Home-Schooled?

You want to know how? Just because I am Home-Schooled doesn't mean that I don't get out into the world. I have the same things as all others. Girlfriends, bullies, friends, and everything else!
Also, about the jobs? I've pet-sitted, baby-sitted, mowed the lawn.

But answer this question, why does it matter what school we go to? I'm still a person. You are too! Just treat others like you would like to be treated...
