Sound/sound quality after upload

Hi
I have uploaded many of my projects and on some of them the sound is unusual. Certain instruments sound different and on projects with the music tracks included (the ones that come with the software) they are only played for one second.
For an example of this go to my page and view project "Cell Phone 2".
When this project was first uploaded the sound was fine but the next day I noticed the problem.
Is this a problem caused by my PC only or is this a general problem.
This has occured with other projects as well.
Thanks

Re: Sound/sound quality after upload

I’m running Windows XP and the Internet Explorer browser.

The quality of the midi sounds from online Scratch projects got better when I followed the instructions at

http://java.sun.com/products/java-media … banks.html

and downloaded and installed  the "soundbank-deluxe.gm.zip".  The instruments sound better but they still don’t quite sound the same as the "program" version of Scratch.

I've updated my text adventure game.

Re: Sound/sound quality after upload

there's another way: when you upload, there should be a button in the bottom left of the upload window. it says "compress sounds and images". Uncheck that box and it *should* work fine.
