Plenty of reasons. For example if they have swearing, which is censored to preteens, then a preteen uses a fake age and the parents see the swearing, it's the kid's fault not the website's fault. And also, yes, the mods would have access to the other's personal info, so this is definitely not a good idea.
One last thing, Scratchthatguys, that code you put up: is it supposed to be a page? Because now that I think about it, it's not even a proper header

What I'm trying to say is don't you not to want the mods to see your personal info? I wouldnt want a stranger peaking at my facebook status's. and what if this gets as big as facebook? impossible to have that many mods? maybe have a mod for like each country?

We'll only nominate trustworthy people as moderators.

Re: YipYap: Social Networking For Kids---WORK IN PROGRESS!

trustworthy....? Im saying why would anyone want some stranger looking at their stuff? even if they are trustworthy wont it be creepy to know everything you post some stranger is going to be looking at it?

and someone can seem trustworthy, you higher them for mod, and then they betray you..

You know what, this is probably gonna never start (no offense) until your older so im gonna leave because i dont want to argue any more. im sorry for the trouble i have caused

Guys, it's like this. Personal info is seen by administrators not mods.
